About Me

Having studied at St Martins School of Art in the early 80’s, I allowed my art to lapse whilst I embarked on a career and raised my family.  I have now returned to my love of art and with it all the joy of discovery with every piece I produce.

Inspired by the unexpected, my work is described as visceral in its subject matter and form.  By marking paper with a series of colours, shapes and tones, often the outcome surprises me and perhaps reveals more of me than I can express with words.

Mary-Lou passed away in September 2020. She was an amazing mum as well as an amazing artist. As a family we want all her work to still be visible so please share the website all you can!
